Grand Prix and such
Hey people!! Welcome back...
Got some photos from the Grand Prix. I was just using my little point and shoot Canon and you're behind massive fencing so it was hard to capture good shots, but here they are nonetheless.
Went with Craig-o and his girlfriend Adelle, mate Ian from work, Steve (mate who's a mechanic) and Danny from Sydney. Good times!
I cannot communicate to people who haven't been to the grand prix how amazingly loud these cars are... You can hear them 10 Km's away from the track. When you're standing 5 metres away then you can imagine it's quite nasty for the ears.
I saw one of my mates (Chloe) from work on the TV at the GP today, she was one of the grid girls ;-)
In other news things are all good in Melbski's. New job is most excellent, weekends are getting a little insane though when you go out until 9am on a Saturday night (good ol' St Patty's Day).
Just booked flights to Perth for the end of May/start June. Dan Garvey and I are going on a 'romantic getaway' to escape the Melbourne winter - beach, babes and beer will be the order of things...
Josh has decided to stay another year in Japan. Marto and Domma are heading over in a fortnight to visit him in Tokushima. Should be some interesting stories coming out of that trip.
Anyhoo, hope all are well - there's plenty more to come... I'll try not to be so lazy.
